Contest Rules:
There is no animal entry fee for the contest. However, owners must have a Woofstock
T-shirt on to be eligible for prizes. This will enable our embedded secret judges
to know who entered the contest by way of making a donation. There will be a contest
for the best dressed "Spirited Razorback" Costumes and a contest for just "Best
Dressed."
Each contestant will be eligible for the following:
1st Prize = 1 Full Year Free Dog Food
2nd Prize = 6 months Free Dog Food
3rd Prize = Basket of Tasty Goodie Treats for the Pooch
For the comfort of our other patrons we ask that you refrain from bringing the following
breeds: Pit Bull, Doberman & Rottweiler.
Only one dog per ticket holder. Any participating dog
must be at least 6 months old. All dogs will be admitted free of charge. All dogs
must have complete and current vaccinations. We reserve the right to refuse entry
to any dog. Waiver form must be completed before ticketholder and dog will be allowed
entry into Baum Stadium. We reserve the right to direct you and your dog to any
seat in our “Hog Pen” area. Dogs and their owners will be restricted to the “Hog
Pen” area within the ballpark. Your dog must wear a current rabies tag to gain admission
to the park. ID tags are recommended. All dogs MUST be on a leash at all times.
Use good judgment regarding the temperament of your pet so that this event will
be enjoyable for everyone. Do not bring your dog if it is unreliable in crowds or
with other dogs. Do not bring a dog whose behavior could be dangerous to others.
Be courteous and responsible – please pick up after your dog. Veterinarian will
be on hand in case of an injury or emergency.
Waiver and General Release of Claims and Covenant Not to Sue
I, the undersigned, fully understand, appreciate, covenant and agree that I have
voluntarily requested to participate in an event entitled “The Arkansas Razorbacks
present WoofStock 2009” at Baum Stadium, which will involve my attendance and the
attendance of my dog, of which I have custody, at Baum Stadium. I understand that
by participating in this event, my actions may result in anticipated and/or unanticipated
injuries and damage to myself and others including my dog as well as the dogs of
others. I hereby represent that the dog of which I have custody during the event
is in good health. I confirm and assure that the dog has current rabies vaccinations.
I agree to abide by any decision of any Razorback official concerning my ability
or the ability of the dog of which I have custody to participate in this event safely,
and I further agree that Razorback officials may authorize necessary treatment for
me and/or the dog in my custody. I assume any and all risks associated with my participation
in this event, including, but not limited to, risk of or associated with injury
and property damage including injury to dogs, illness, traveling to and from the
event, falls, contact with spectators at the event, injuries or damages sustained
by and through other participant dogs, the effects of the weather including extreme
temperature and humidity, the condition of the premises and Baum Stadium, including
sidewalks and parking lots, and it is understood and agreed that all such risks
are appreciated by me. I agree to abide by all the rules and instructions given
in connection with this event. I assume the risk for injuries and damages sustained
as a result of the manner and method by which the event is administered. I acknowledge
that I have completed “The Arkansas Razorbacks present WoofStock 2009” form, I understand
that I am solely responsible for the accuracy of information that is contained therein
and I hold the parties as identified below harmless and release them from liability
and any responsibility for verifying the information contained in the form and whether
the information was provided by me or a third party.
I, the undersigned, have read this waiver and I am competent to sign the waiver
with full understanding of the above information. In consideration for allowing
me to participate in this event with the dog in my control, I hereby for myself,
my heirs, executors and administrators or anyone acting on my behalf, waive, release,
covenant not to sue and fully indemnify and hold harmless and discharge the Board
of Trustees of the University of Arkansas, the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville,
International Sports Properties (ISP), Nestle Purina, the Benton County Humane Society,
including, but not limited to all trustees, officials, representatives, employees,
ushers, and volunteers of each of the respective foregoing parties as well as any
other group or individual in any way assisting or connected with this event from
and against any and all claims, demands or causes of action of any kind arising
out of my participation in this event, regardless of who causes the injury or damage
sustained and regardless of whether based on fault or negligence or not.
I hereby grant such parties the perpetual right to use for publicity or promotional
purposes, my name or pictures of me and my dog or dogs in any media without and
liability or obligation to me.
